Summary

Molson Coors is offering a secure gated access point for a pub’s WiFi where Molson Coors brands are stocked, such as; Carling, Coors Light and Cobra. As a drinks brand, Molson Coors needed a way to create a relationship with pub goers and build a database for direct sales, whilst rewarding loyalty and encouraging venues to stock their products.

Objectives
  • The licensed venue can use the Molson Coors Cloud to achieve customer interaction and loyalty, data collection and ROI from additional food and beverage sales.
  • When visitors access the WiFi via social media, Molson Coors can ask for a Facebook ‘Like’ or a Twitter ‘Follow’ and gain the opportunity to engage via social media or email.
Installation

The trial was set up using TP-LINK wireless equipment running custom Purple firmware, enabling remote management using a web-interface.
