Tim Mason is a director and advisor to several businesses including Eagle Eye Solutions, Digital Natives Content,Visual RetaleIt’s Fresh, Purple and an advisor to The Foundation, TCC and Yext. He is Chairman and CEO of an adult soft drink start-up called Soft Brew Licensing Ltd.
Tim was Chairman of Bonmarché Plc until May 2015. Previously Tim has over 30 years of retail experience with Tesco PLC, 17 years as a board director and since 2010 as Deputy CEO and Chief Marketing Officer of Tesco and also as President and CEO of Fresh & Easy Neighbourhood Market since its founding in 2007. Mr Mason has also served on the boards of Tesco.com Limited, Tesco Personal Finance and Tesco Mobile. He launched the Tesco Clubcard and Tesco.com.
Previously the CEO of Best Buy International, Bob Willett is a leader with significant international operating experience in the retail multichannel and technology industries. Bob also previously served as the Global Managing Partner for retail practice at Accenture LLP. Originally launching his career as a store manager at Marks & Spencer, he has accumulated a wealth of experience and held various executive positions with King Fisher PLC, been Group CEO of the Gateway corporation and the Managing Director of Littlewoods stores.
Rory’s career has been in investment banking. He has worked at Investec Bank, Numis Securities, Merrill Lynch, Credit Suisse and now Zeus Capital. Rory is currently a Director of Corporate Finance advising clients on various forms of fund raising, mergers and acquisitions.
With over 15 years experience working in technology led or enabled businesses, Gavin has a deep understanding of the impact of technology on the bottom line of an organisation. Having recently sold his last business, Applied Language Solutions, a global language technology and services business, he set up So Purple Group with the prime focus on building an enterprise guest WiFi system that was end user friendly.
Pete is a qualified finance professional with in excess of 20 years experience. Having worked in M&A advisory, he has subsequently operated in the technology sector where he has been responsible for leading various teams across finance, IT, administration, HR and professional services in a number of early stage software companies. Pete brings a wealth of industry experience to his role as COO at Purple. He is a key part of the management team and is responsible for our continued growth and success.
John has over 15 years experience leading the direction and development of web based software solutions, having previously held senior management positions in this capacity. John’s core skills are heavily focused towards the development of online based product solutions, user experience and user interface design. As Chief Product Officer he is responsible for the vision, direction, design and management of Purple’s internal and commercial product portfolio.
Eric Law has 18 years sales experience in a series of senior positions with Cisco Systems, including leading Sales and Business Development teams in the Enterprise sector and Channel. Eric has led high performing teams across multiple countries, technologies and segments. He has global responsibility for growing the Purple sales organisation, focused on driving revenue through and with Purple’s Customers, Distributors, Service Providers and Channel Partners.
