Purple is fully integrated with Aruba wireless APs, controllers and the Aruba Analytics and Location Engine (ALE). Aruba wireless access points deliver robust guest WiFi performance; they can be deployed as either controllerless Aruba Instant APs or controller managed, depending on the design and scale of the wireless network.

ALE-based analytics provide a wealth of information about people and devices either nearby or connected to the WiFi.

The ALE location data is made available to Purple customers via the Purple Portal. The information is matched with the user’s demographic profile, providing valuable insights into customer behaviour.

The business intelligence delivered by the ALE data, combined with the information Purple collect when guests log in, can be used to improve the customer experience. Allowing marketers to segment and target customers based on their age, gender, loyalty, and their physical location in a venue, results in promotions that are relevant and timely. The reports available can also help to drive operational improvements, ensuring busy areas are staffed accordingly and that the venue’s layout is fully optimized.
