Bandwidth

Monetize your WiFi with tiered bandwidth

Charge customers for WiFi access based on time, data, or a superior usage bandwidth service

Our WiFi bandwidth feature offers flexibility and the opportunity to increase revenue through three alternative usage methods. Timed bandwidth is used to set a limit to the amount of free access, 30 minutes for example, after which point a charge to the user is incurred. Data bandwidth limits enable businesses to charge customers using a higher proportion of allocated bandwidth to stream videos, for example, over simple web browsing or emails. Speed bandwidth limits create a superior WiFi experience for customers who have the option to upgrade for faster upload and download speeds.

You can easily manage your WiFi bandwidth plan with Purple’s Payment Gateway through our cloud software. Our payment gateway is fully PCI compliant under the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard and ready to start taking payments immediately.

Purple currently support billing customers in the following currencies: United States Dollar (USD), British Pound (GBP), Euro (EUR), Canadian Dollar (CAD), Australian Dollar (AUD). Please note, we do not yet support PayPal as a customer payment option. We can add additional currencies if required, on request.
