Purple move to new offices in Austin, Texas to accommodate further growth

Purple, global leaders in guest WiFi analytics, are moving to TechSpace, a vibrant and creative shared office space located in one of Austin’s premier locations, 98 San Jacinto Center. The new space will allow Purple to execute plans to build on the existing team to meet a continued increase in market demand.

The move comes after a whirlwind 2017, during this time Purple demonstrated a 367.2% increase in revenue compared to the previous year in America alone.

With aspirations to propel growth further, the move will allow Purple to add a further four heads to the team including a Sales Director, Enterprise Sales Manager and two Partner Success Managers.

The Purple platform now has 50 million users worldwide across 34,000 venues, and with offices in the UK (headquarters), U.S., Chile, Spain, Singapore and Australia, Purple’s growth shows no sign of slowing.

Home to a number of large technology names including Google, Apple Inc. and Hewlett-Packard, Austin is fast becoming a hubspot for tech, culture and creativity. It is also one of the fastest growing U.S. cities and the tech ‘boom’ continues to turn the city into Texas’s answer to Silicon Valley.

America is Purple’s largest market and having already collaborated with a number of businesses across the region including Miami Heat, Legoland, LifeWay, and Michael Kors, the number of U.S. customers is expected to soar in 2018.

Commenting on the move, Gavin Wheeldon, Purple’s CEO said: “The U.S. is our largest market and Purple’s solution has already been successfully implemented across thousands of venues. We already have a great team in place who have had significant success in developing the Purple brand and winning new business. Investing further in our U.S. presence and the growth of our Austin office is a logical decision that puts us in the perfect position to accelerate our growth further.”
