Purple, the intelligent spaces software company, today announced the appointment of Mike Greig, as VP Americas.
Mike joined Purple in July 2015 as VP Service Providers, Americas. He has over 20 years of experience in technology and, before joining Purple, was VP Sales, Americas & EMEA at Smith Micro Software. He developed and executed the company’s Latin America, North America and EMEA go-to-market and sales plan focused on tier one carriers, MSOs, PC-OEMs and broadband providers.
Mike’s new role will focus on growing the brand, increasing awareness and evangelizing Purple in the market. To achieve these goals, he will take on specific tasks including: expanding the team; developing a world-class partner plan to penetrate key verticals; and building managed services with the large and influential service providers.
The Americas market is ripe for Purple’s unique offer, with growth potential that is both exciting and achievable. Mike and his team are in a position to lead organizations on a journey to understand and implement intelligent spaces in a range of venues.
Mike is already building a fantastic group of highly experienced people to help him meet his goals.
