Newly Certified Partner to promote Purple at leading U.S. conference

Von Technologies, a newly Certified Purple Partner, is set to attend the largest U.S. conference for female business owners to discuss business trends, innovative technology disruptors and WiFi analytics at an interactive workshop.

The Chicago based IT company focuses on technology deployments, network infrastructure, and managed intelligent wireless networks and is owned by Michelle Vondrasek, who was named a 2016 Woman of Influence by the Chicago Business Journal. On June 20th she is set to head to Las Vegas to attend the WBENC National Conference & Business Fair, an annual three-day event, celebrating its 20th anniversary.

Michelle received her invite from Cisco, one of the company’s core technology partners, who asked her to participate in an informative, open workshop to discuss her experiences as a business woman in tech. Having recently achieved certified status with Purple she is also set to highlight the benefits of WiFi analytics during her discussion, as well as other services available from Von Technologies.

Commenting on the event, Michelle Vondrasek, President of Von Technologies, said: “Von recognizes the power of combining a managed Wi-Fi network and analytics package to bring business owners both an enhanced end user experience and detailed information on their customer’s lifestyle, frequency of visits and revenue generating metrics like consumer dwell time.

“There is perhaps no better place to share and promote our capabilities than this conference.  As a ten-year member of WBENC I’m proud to be invited by Cisco to participate in this workshop.  Any opportunity to share my experiences to help other women business leaders advance their organization’s mission is important to me.”

Von Technologies felt that Purple was a complementary fit to their business portfolio and recognised the fact that a lot of customers are actively seeking ways to use digital platforms to help improve customer experience and engagement within venues. The team is currently working with a leading property management firm to deploy Purple’s solution, plus Cisco Meraki hardware, at their sites.

With Purple, customers of Von Technologies are able to legally capture analytics data about those accessing guest WiFi at their venues, including their name, age, gender, email and interests. The solution also lets brands gain insights into visitor behaviour, dwell time, traffic flow and frequency of visits, which can be used to improve marketing output, customer engagement and increase ROI.

As a Purple Certified Partner, Von Technologies will have privileged access to detailed online training, technical support, unlimited NRF licences and preferential lead allocation, enabling them to sell Purple’s WiFi and analytics solution to the best of their ability.

Gavin Wheeldon, CEO of Purple, said: “I’m delighted to have Von Technologies on board as a Certified Partner. Michelle and her team are highly capable of effectively unlocking new business opportunities and showcasing the Purple product to both new and existing customers. I look forward to hearing feedback from the WBENC National Conference & Business fair as I’m sure it will prove beneficial for all attendees and it will also strengthen their relationship with Purple and Cisco.”
