Last week Purple WiFi were feeling glamorous as we got to attend the Cineworld Exhibition at Silverstone race track, along with our partner, TFM Networks, a preferred supplier of the Cineworld group. With five Cineworld cinemas already up and running with TFM, Cisco Meraki and Purple, it was the perfect opportunity to showcase the benefits of the solution to the group, while rubbing shoulders with other preferred suppliers to the group such as Disney and Coca-Cola.
We ran Purple WiFi live at the venue, demonstrating full location based services, with Purple overlaying Cisco Meraki equipment.
TFM Networks provide networking infrastructure across the Cineworld Group. The showcase demonstrated how Purple WiFi can:
- Increase revenue at the concession stand using real-time marketing in action
- Increase sign ups for Cineworld Unlimited by providing a URL redirect to the loyalty programme sign up page
- Improve customer experience with a slick log in process and relevant content delivery
- Enhance operations with queue management, identifying bounce rate and capturing customer data
It was very encouraging to see 77 Cineworld general managers, regional managers, HQ staff and the group’s IT Director successfully logged in to Purple WiFi. There were over 400 logins in total throughout the day.
The feedback was overwhelmingly positive and the stand was at full capacity all day. Considering on other stands there was all you can eat hot dogs, plus sweet treats from Candy King and free Cadbury’s on offer, our packed stand was a real testament to the Purple WiFi and TFM Networks dream team.
