Purple, the intelligent spaces company, has announced its certified partnership with Digital Avenue, who is using its WiFi and analytics solution to capture valuable visitor data for organisers of popular events.
Digital Avenue is the industry leader in the rapid deployment of robust event WiFi, scalable temporary internet and live streaming for events and venues. The London based business is offering Purple to production companies, PR agencies and brands so that they can understand the demographics, movement and behaviour of those people attending the events that they host or sponsor.
The team already works with an abundance of high profile clients, delivering reliable connectivity solutions at pop-up events, award ceremonies, exhibitions, tours and premieres across the UK and Europe. Digital Avenue believes that Purple is a complementary addition to their portfolio as the insights allow clients to effectively evaluate their events, engage with visitors and make future improvements.
David Jones, Director of Digital Avenue, said: “Introducing Purple to our portfolio will enable us to provide clients with a comprehensive insight into their visitor demographics, behaviour, interactions and even how long they spend at an event. The solution will also enable us to provide customers with real-time statistics about their live events, and produce comprehensive reporting to measure the overall success and impact post event.”
The partnership with Purple evolved following comprehensive online research and a trial of their enhanced licence product. The team was impressed by the wealth of online training available and also liked the fact that Purple could be easily integrated with Ruckus cloud management, which was important due to the fact that this is the main hardware they deploy as a Ruckus Big Dog.
David adds: “We were impressed with the capabilities of Purple and are sure that our customers will recognise the value of acquiring these types of analytics from their events and venues. We are currently working with a prestigious UK customer to deploy the solution and have a number of other clients already in the pipeline, which is a great start to our relationship with Purple.”
As a Certified Purple Partner, Digital Avenue will have access to unlimited online training, technical support, NRF licences and preferential lead allocation, which will all prove useful as the firm plans to win new business in the events space.
Commenting on the partnership, CEO of Purple, Gavin Wheeldon, said: “The majority of our partners sell our WiFi and analytics solution to fixed venues such as restaurants, hotels, hospitals and stadiums, so it is great to welcome on board a partner that focuses on a different niche market. Digital Avenue clearly recognise the value of analytics for those customers working in the events sector, so I’m excited to see what they achieve over the forthcoming months.”
