New resale agreement for Purple WiFi
e92plus, the award winning VAD (Value Added Distributor), have signed up innovative social WiFi provider, Purple WiFi, which will see the addition of cloud-based guest wireless and location analytics solutions to its growing portfolio of wireless solutions.
The market for Wi-Fi continues to grow significantly, with drivers such as BYOD, workforce mobility and the demand for Wi-Fi as an essential part of the service in markets such as hospitality, leisure, tourism and sporting events.
Purple WiFi provides businesses with enterprise guest WiFi which meets all legal requirements while delivering rich analytical information about the guests including their age, their gender, how often they visit and how long they stay online at the venue. The guests log into the secure hotspot system using social media authentication, such as Facebook or Twitter, or a by filling in a very short form if preferred. This in turn generates valuable segmented data for the business and an engagement tool to promote relevant offers for WiFi users and their wider social community.
The addition of Purple WiFi to the portfolio of e92plus benefits resellers greatly, as it can open doors to new sales opportunities and a different set of decision makers, such as marketing and retail sales directors, who will be interested in the rich analytical information that Purple WiFi generates. This in turn allows the reseller to sell the IT equipment and other services to enable integration with Purple WiFi and gain a competitive edge over the competition.
