March 7th, 2016 Purple, the intelligent spaces software company, today announced the appointment of Petah Green, as the new VP for Asia Pacific. Petah joins Purple from Microsoft.
Prior to joining Purple, Petah was the Head of Microsoft’s Enterprise and Public Sector Sales for Australia and New Zealand and their Specialist Sales Director. Before Microsoft, she was Vice President for Asia Pacific for OpenWave Software and had multiple roles at HP, including CMS SEA Director and Director of Software Asia Pacific.
Petah has extensive knowledge of the Asia Pacific region having worked across Australia and Singapore. Petah’s key skills lie in her ability to build and nurture high performance teams and lead them to achieve successful outcomes. From a customer perspective she has proven to be able to build long-term relationships in the enterprise and government sectors by creating loyalty and trust.
Petah’s role with Purple will see her responsible for growth and strategic direction across the APJ region. In addition she will focus on strategic relationships within the Service Provider sector. This is all part of ongoing development within the region, which will also see significant investment in sales representatives in the next few months. Purple already has offices in Singapore and in Melbourne.
Petah will be based in Singapore and report to Chief Revenue Officer, Eric Law.

It has a global agreement in place with Westcon Comstor, in addition to an active reseller base of over 300 in 60 countries. The Asia Pacific region is crucial to this continued growth and Petah’s appointment will strengthen the teams across the area.
