Change-focused Customer Service Leader, Chris McGrath, Joins Purple to Enhance Customer Value and Support Operations Growth
Purple, a global leader in Wi-Fi analytics and indoor location services, today announced the appointment of Chris McGrath to Vice President of Customer Support. In this role, McGrath will lead the Global Customer Support team in maximizing customer lifetime value and ensuring a high standard of service for customers, partners and end users.
McGrath’s appointment underscores Purple’s dedication to delivering unmatched service and value to its customers when it comes to Wi-Fi analytics and data insights. As the Vice President of Customer Support, McGrath will lead initiatives to analyze customer needs with the goals of optimizing satisfaction, fostering loyalty, and ensuring seamless implementation of Purple’s Wi-Fi analytics solutions across diverse sectors while ensuring the end user receives best in class service.

McGrath has more than 20 years of experience in strategic account management and a proven record of driving strong customer relationship initiatives for high-growth technology companies. Most recently, he served as Senior Customer Service Manager at eGain where he managed a portfolio of enterprise brands, negotiated a three-year lease renewal with the company’s largest enterprise customer and achieved company goals for customer growth and expansion by more than 100 percent of target. Prior to his role at eGain, McGrath was a Technical Delivery Lead at Virgin Media where he pioneered development and deployment of a chatbot which played a key role in boosting customer engagement volume.
