How we pass the time on in-flight WiFi

When you board a flight, either on holiday or business, you know you’ve got a big chunk of time to pass while you’re up in the air. In the past you may have read a book, or watched the inflight movie that you didn’t really want to see. Now with WiFi available everywhere we go, including 40,000 feet, you can spend your time in a more productive and interesting way.

Thanks to an Infographic from Gogo, we now know exactly how people spend time online in the air.

Most of us surf the web, whilst quite a few dedicated workers take the time to catch up on work emails. While many take the opportunity to prepare for their holiday by doing some research, many other activities are much like those down on the ground, including Social Networking, checking sports scores and shopping.
